In Search of Leokadiya Kashperova

Tuesday, 10th March 2020

at St George's School, Ascot.

Reception from 7:00 pm.

The lecture commences at 7:45 pm

To be known only as Stravinsky’s piano teacher must have been hard to bear for a talented pianist and composer.  But this is just how Leokadiya Kashperova has been known.  Graham Griffiths, our lecturer, will describe how he has researched and rediscovered the life and works of this great composer whom history has forgotten. Graham has a degree in music from Edinburgh and a doctorate from Christ Church Oxford.
