20th Century Theatre

Tuesday, 8th October 2019

at St George's School, Ascot.

Reception from 7:00 pm.

The lecture commences at 7:45 pm

Theatre reflects society and our lecturer, Giles Ramsay, will demonstrate that the show still went on, even through extraordinary times such as the Great Depression, two World Wars and the Cold War.  The show continues to go on today.  Giles is an independent theatre director and producer who combines academic analysis with hands-on experience to bring a unique insight into the world of the theatre.
